HELP No audio in game

So the trailer had sound but as soon as it reaches the cut-scene where you retrieve the axe and guitar. There is no sound. And no sound in game. I have restarted countless times. I have verified integrity of game cache. And I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game.

You'll have to tell us a few things for us to help you. What OS are you using? what graphics card? sound card? (if any)? Are you running anything in the background that might conflict with the game such as some kind of overlay/recording program/whatever? We need the details.

I noticed when i switch to HDMI audio it works. But when i listen through my headphones there is no sound in game. But I had no recording software open. I had no program running in the background other than Steam. And i'm running Windows 10.

If I had to make a guess the reason the games messing up is because of your audio settings. HDMI might work fine but what I'd do is to go your audio settings (buttom right audio icon), right clcik and go to Playback Devices. Click on the headphones and go to Configure and make sure it's set to Stereo with no boxes checked for full range. Also go to properties > advanced and click restore defaults. See if it works.

I use hdmi headphones and every so often I'll play a game that refuses to work properly with 192hz or surrond so I have to set the audio to Stereo or 16bit/24bit 48000hz.

I fixed it. Set it to stereo and it works fine.

Have you found a fix yet? Running into the same issue...

Set your audio to Stereo, Most modern headphones now use a surround sound or something similar. You'll need to go to your headphones settings and manually set it to Stereo.

No audio? Audio is the best part of this game.
