Second Team promotion? Germany

Hi Guys, my second team is playing in the "Regionalliga" (GER4), which can't be simulated. However, there are always some teams promoted to the "3. Liga" (GER3) every year. Does somebody know how this promotion works and if my second team will be prometed, when I have enough good player?

Maybe yes, maybe not; since it's happening in background. Try and see it.

There is a random Chance that they will get promoted which can rise and fall together with the reputation of your second team. So there is always a chance but having a lot of high reputation players in the team will increase the chance.
If youre not into deep i would recommend using a new save together with the german league system mod and then only picking the 4th tier.

If you are in the first or second tier, your second team can be in the 3rd at most.
If you are in the 3rd tier, your second team can be in the 5th but no higher.

In Spain, second teams of Bilbao, Barcelona, Real have been in the 2nd tier. They don't have this restriction.

Reputation is key to get promotion. But I believe that without the In-game editor, I don't think that improving the reputation is possible. Because GER4 is league that cannot be simulated, your team will not play any games during the season.
I had a long save with Schalke where my reserve team was full of promising players and older unhappy 2.5-3 star players :D . I played a lot of friendlies against higher reputation teams and won most of it. I got invited to U21 Premier League International Cup wich i won. My reputation remained the same year after year.

Start new game with germany lower league database or use In-game editor.

its very difficult to get the B-team from unplayable leagues into the proper divisions. Its tied to club reputation and then RNG ontop of that. so normally all you can do is find good coaches and manager and keep an eye on the quality of the team so they win more often and hope eventually luck is on your side , otherwise use the in-game editor to boost the b teams reputation up a few thousand points ( i would compare to the clubs in the division above that you are trying to get them promoted into ) , then along with the other things i mentioned hopefully within a season or two they ought to pass the RNG checks and get promoted into proper divisions .
