Cant play, protozoid slimer...

First time I saw them I smashed my ESC key so hard it stung like crazy. I want to finish Duke Nukem 3D But I have a "phobia" of the slimer. How could I overcome this fear?

They come out of no where 90% of the time and cover 99.9% of the screen with there creepy sprite and eat your face. The only thing that scares me with them is the fact they cover the whole screen up when they come in contact with you.

...they die at the slightest of damage. Doesn't even have health, they're coded to just die at any damage.
hold your kick button while walking over them and you have nothing to worry about.

You could also mod the game, replacing their graphics with something else.

Modding the game, I dont know how to replace .art files and they act wierd in SLADE the program I use to mod DOOM. Also threads like this wouldnt exist if it was as easy as holding the kick button.

Protozoids are to me just fun little enemies which are a joy to kill in groups with the rpg, just because of the scream noise they make when they explode :D
