WORKS WELL IN A MULTIPLAYER TOO! (UPDATE 07.11.2013) For those people, who affected by a phobia of them as much as i do. I searshed for way to make them much less creepy, and make possible to play upcoming multiplayer with those changes, and i think i found it. So i edited TILES009.art and added it to custom GRP file, then make DN:ME port launch it by editing DEF file (thanks dear TermiT for idea.) But this ISH'T WORK. From mounths i realised about ART.* file, that lying in gameroot folder. It works fine, no problems. I think i've made some success. Still afraid to allow them to crawl onto my face, 'cause sounds not want to be replaced (dispite my heavy work converting it in VOC format). That archive contains one ART file with some replaced slimer sprites.
Note: That mod should give kickstart for Slimerphobers (including me) to start walk through the game.
About new monster: Well, that appears to be a pile of some stinking, rotten meat. When it's gets to player, it force feeding Duke by itself. Sure, every bite he does causes intoxication, and he dies in result.
P.S And most important thing to warn : this will not work on addons (Vacation or otners). So wait
