Looks good, but two player co-op on the PC?
Looks like a good way show off what my PC can do as a centerpeice of my living room, except it doesn't offer two player local co-op?

It's single player. They just have co-op features that you have to do by yourself.

I had no idea what to expect (aside from the video), and so far I'm loving it. It's not a co-op game in the traditional sense, in my opinion.

It's extremely well done so far, and right from the opening menu I've been engrossed. (Been waiting to use that word for weeks!).
Pretty sure co-op would defeat the whole purpose of the game.

Also I agree with Recliner, just right from the main menu you know this is art.

Too bad. If they had 2P coop, my buddy and I would buy it in a second.

Good thing. If it wasn't single player, the whole point of the game would be non-existent.

The whole point is to be single player? Why not one character then? Or if the point is to control more than one, why not five? Seems like it would cater well to 2 player coop.

Not 5 char's cause you only have 2 hands duh, what kinda gameplay elements would you have left if you would put in co-op to keep the game intresting... none at all you might as well watch a let's play video then

People (and reviewers) keep insisting the whole point of the game is to challenge your ability to manipulate two controls (and thus characters) at once. It's a silly argument. It suggest the game has nothing else going for it, when it does.

You can play with two players and enjoy playing a good game together just fine. Isn't *that* the point?

Okay, well now I feel better. Here I thought, this looks like a really deep, emotional story with beautiful levels and an interesting quest, with a unique feature of first-person coop control. I thought maybe I should go out and get a controller to enjoy the experience. But if the whole game is really all about 2 characters, one dude controls them, then it doesn't sound like I'm missing much. I'd have to say, the store page sold it much better than that.

what are you talking about dude? just because its not co op and its only 2 caracters doesnt mean its a bad game? I know every game has co op now and a lot of the co op features are terrible. This is not a co op game but so far seems like a great game. I love that I can control the 2 characters at the same time, exact same time. That is the point of the game and it might be a gimmick but its well implemented, the puzzles so far arent hard but its fun to use both characters to solve them.

He's talking about how comments #3, 6 and 8 make it sound like the game has nothing else going for it beyond being an exercise in tapping your head and rubbing your belly at the same time.

I think this game would be a very interesting experience playing 2 people on the same controller. It would lose some of the charm at the beginning, but I think this would work great if you are goofing off a bit while communicating.

Thanks Gyson. I apologize for the sarcasm, but I'm glad someone got me. Still looks like a very interesting game. I very well may get it some day. I just thought why not make 2 coop and keyboard control an option? Seems to me you'd greatly increase your market share with those simple modifications, and it wouldn't take away the single-player coop either. That would still be there.

I played the game co-operatively with a friend yesterday. He was using his keyboard to control one brother and I used my 360 gamepad to control the other. It worked great.
