Playing with Mouse + Keyboard?
I wanted this game but i noticed that you have to use a gamepad. Is it possible to use just mouse and keyboard:twbuh: :Khappy:

No not really, as you control each brother with 1 analog stick. So you really need a controller with 2 analog sticks, like the xbox controller

You use ASD and Space for one Character and the Arrow Keys and R Ctrl for the other, I just finished with the keyboard. It just takes some getting used to but there are no real difficult sequences.

Have fun trying to imitate with a keyboard turning 2 analog sticks in a circular rotation at the same time. There's a good reason the developer has stated the game needs a controller, can't imagine the experience being very good without one.

This type of game screams controller. Logitech F310 is configured like a PS2/3 but computer sees it as X360 and it's cheap to purchase but quality built. So many PC games use a controller these days that it just makes sense to get one. I have been using mouse/kb for over 20 yrs and controllers since consoles existed and both have their pros and cons but for the price it is worth it to have a controller for your PC in this day and age. Many PC games now work very well with a controller and are built with one in mind.

I finished the entire game with a keyboard and the experience was great so whatever floats your boat really.

I tried to play with both but I guess it's impossible xD

Yup, I literally just finished beating the game with a Keyboard. (You don't use a mouse at all)
It can be a bit awkward at times, but it doesn't take away from the impact and enjoyment of the game. It was still amazing.

My keyboard doesn't work so well with this game somehow. If I press R Ctrl then Space doesn't work anymore. Very often one of the brothers or even both refuse to move at all, no matter how you bash WASD and arrow keys... Now I'm stuck at the scene where the brothers are tied together with a rope because I have to hold R Ctrl while pressing Space, which doesn't work with my keyboard..... I'd really hope there's a solution for this issue.

it is your buffer for the keyboard either you change the setting in windows key recognition (may work ma not work) or you have to get a keyboard espacially a usb keyboard would help as ps/2 keyboards will tend to be not suited for pressing more than one button - i myself play the game with a logitech usb keyboard (logitech classic 200) and it works fine

Well actually I changed the mapping and it worked. Instead of Space and R Ctrl I now have Space and N. Little brother moves are IJKL. Now I can press Space while N is pressed. But D and L cannot be pressed simoutaneously... Weird enough but at least I can progress further... Thanks for your tips. I also have a logitech wireless keyboard.

without the joystick is nearly unplayable, since you control the two brothers. I especially started to play with the keyboard to see, but it did not work and played the rest with the joystick and I felt much the difference

My favorite game controller.Connect via USB. Emulates keyboard + mouse. Compatible with any game on PC. Excellent for shooters and spacesims. It provides the ability to program all the buttons and features, create macros. You can adjust the size of the shape of the body of the player. Resolution of 12 bit magnetic sensor. MGM - the eighth generation of game controllers.
