Doppelganger help

Hi. I'm having a problem with Lara's doppelganger in the Atlantis level. The first time I came into the room, I assumed she was just a normal enemy, so I killed the doppelganger, which killed Lara of course. At this point the doppelganger was doing what it was supposed to. After I reloaded my saved game to try again, the doppelganger was at the entrance which it comes in through, as expected. However, as soon as I moved Lara away from the place where she came in, the doppelganger disappeared. Lara still reacted to her being there, like when Lara was standing on a pillar for example, but I couldn't see the doppelganger. Also, Lara reacted as if it wasn't moving, wasn't following her movements, no matter where Lara moved to. The doppelganger was just staying at the entrance where she first appeared. Nothing I've done, including restarting the game, seems to fix this. Since the doppelganger doesn't appear to move, I can't trick it into killing itself, so I can't get out of the room and finish the level. Does anybody know why this is happening? Is there a way to fix it?

Thanks. Unfortunately, it doesn't matter where I go or what I do. Lara reacts as if the Doppelganger never moves, so the solution in red doesn't work.

I'd tell you to reload an older save then, but if you don't have it I don't know lol.

reload the level and start from the beginning. It wont take long

Go to the area you slid down from and do a back jump.

Are you using any of the patches?
