Same for Tomb Raider 2, 3, 4 . . . But at TR 2 I use "H" for flare.
I use these buttons as it simulates (for me) a PS1 controller and feels natural to me, every game like that, or when I used to play racing games on keyboard or whatever that dont use mouse, I use this configuration:
AWSD as "movement keys"
JIKL as "square/triangle/X/circle" respectively
I/O as R1/R2
U/Y as L1/L2
N as start
B as select
H for some extra action as it is near the action buttons for me.
But, above all . . . walking with arrows (what mean using the right hand to move the character) and doing action with keys spread through the keyboard (with the left hand) is totally unnatural to me and I never even tried much to get used.
To me it was natural as I always used directional buttons on the left and action buttons on the right at controller, also AWSD is normal for fps and other games too.
AWSD you can use along with Y or P without a problem at keyboard, also you only use Y "to look" or P to "walk" when there is no need for sudden jump or attack.
You can also use both K, J and L sequentially or J+K along with W to grab a surface or K+L to roll and keep attacking without a problem too.
As you dont need to use weapons while doing parkour and you dont need to do much parkour while holding weapons "I" for "draw guns / holster guns" is tyhere to be pressed just once in a while and U for " side step left" and O for " side step right" also dont need to be used along with other keys and I sugest not using any of the both while in combat, as it is "slow walk speed" but can be a tool in case the enemy is far away and you want to attack, so you can keep attacking with K and press U or O to sidestep out and back from your cover.
None of the keys that need to be pressed simultaneously will make you twist your fingers to press both simultaneously if you keep, 3 fingers on ASD (where you need to move only 1 finger for W and S) and if you keep 3 fingers on JKL, where you will use 1 finger for YUJH, 1 finger for POL and 1 finger for IK and everything is near.
I almost forgot about H . . . almost never use it anyway as instead of using flares I use the pistols to light my way through.
For PC TRs, that already have mouse inputs to it, many of the controls dont even make sense to have at keyboard for right hand as right hand will be at mouse, but for the PS1 games that dont use mouse and still have all the actions, along with any other game on emulator or games of the kind that dont use mouse, like classic Sonic games or fighting games, I use the same configuration of:
AWSD as "movement keys"
JIKL as "square/triangle/X/circle" respectively
I/O as R1/R2
U/Y as L1/L2
N as start
B as select
I described when I play on keyboard.
