"How little we know" quest, dead hooker in locked room.

I stole the key from Clanden to investigate the dead hooker corpse in that room, however it does not seem to have any effect. Can't bring it up in dialogue with Clanden, Troike, Big Sal or Cachino. I thought it was supposed to enable you to help Troike prove he did not kill the hooker.

I'm not sure, but doesn't it activate an additional option of releasing Troike from his contract, if you use medicine skill to investigate the hooker's corpse?

Like you speak to Cachino - he tells you about Troike's incident - you find the corpse and examine it (~35-40 medicine) - you talk to Troike about hooker and pass the medicine speechcheck (30 medicine). No?

Hmmm I am not sure if I tried it in that order. What I definitly did is kill Clanden in his room, then go to the room with the dead hooker and examine it. Then go find Troike and use all avaiable dialogue including the medicine check. However the medicine check with Troike is in regards to how many drugs he took when he passed out, not specifically about the hooker he is accussed of killing. That did not bring me any options, the only way I had to complete the quest is by talking to Big Sall and using the speech or barter checks, or steal the evidence from his office.
