Black screen in 1920x1080 resolution

Hey folks,

my screen turns black when

a) the game loads a new screen or
b) sometimes even when I switch to 1920x1080 resolution, which is my native resolution.

Graphics card is ATI Radeon HD 5700.

...and by the way, I got the same issue with my save file which many people are reporting, not being able to continue.

Bit disappointing, I have to say :\ Bring out that patch, people.

Besides that, thanks for releasing this great game on Steam !

Same problem, played it windowed at 720 and had no issues.

how do you get it to play in a window in windows 7 ?

Kyur, not that I'm assuming you haven't, but, just incase you may not have, have you tried installing AMD CCC 13.4 WHQL? Or even 13.5 Beta?

Fullscreen == black screen. Windowed == works as it should.
Old Radeon HD 2600 == OGL 3.3 compliant.

I dont get any black screen when playing in 1920x1080 (on a 1080P television).
But I'm a Nvidia user (gtx 560), maybe your catalyst drivers are outdated ?

Works now. And after restart*, my save file works, too.

*restart = new game

did you ever figure this out i am stuck on black screen very far into the game and have no idea how to see again lol

was messing with my window mode (i think?) whole screen turned black and dont know how to navigate the menu to get back to how things were beforehand.
