Every big name gets trolled and often harassed at one point or another. If you can't take words on the Internet on the chin, you shouldn't run your own company.

Which in this case is exactly what happened: he saw mean words and ended the company.

Way to blow a minority's actions way out of proportion in order to screw over a majority and make yourself look bad.

It was just an excuse for the fact he just didn't have it in him. He can lie to me and himself about it, but I'm sure that's the reason.

He literally stole Fez from the people he was working with. He didnt make a fez 2 cause he couldn't, and he couldn't cause he didn't make fez 1. The ♥♥♥♥♥ fit he had over gamergate merely existing (cause he quit over someone else's drama not cause he was being "trolled"), was just a convenient excuse.

Had gamergate not come along he would've blamed his personal life, or some other minor set back that normal people who make games go through and still output a sequel. The guys who made 'No Mans Sky' had a way worse time and not only did they push on, they did it without a direct profit motive since the updates were free.

Im not going to go slumming through 6 year old articles just cause you want to worship the ground a developer from 2015 walks upon, there were articles about that though predating fish's declaration he wouldn't be making fez 2.
