Bottom line: Try creating a new account. If you can log into the new account, it's not Glyph. It's your account at that point. Just go on their website and get in touch with the online help folks and they will be able to fix the problem.
If you can't log in with a different account, then try some other other remedies here. Overall your best bet is to run the game apart from Steam anyway since you won't have lag when you're in areas with lots of people that aren't logged in via Steam.
That's not what I suggested... those were steps I took and failed at to get my game working.
Create a new free account and see if you can log into it. All you need is a new email account (go open a free one if you don't already have an extra one) If you can in with that newbie account, then you know your other account is the problem.. and not Glyph or Steam.
At that point you'll have to go to the support portion of the website then go to "help" and click the contact us and online chat option. It might take a few hours to get through the queue, but it's still faster than waiting 72 hours for an email response.
Yeah I said it....... buy something (this isn't directed toward you ronbo191 you already put $60 more than most new players) but it's an easy way for anyone new/F2P to access the Live Help. You may say wtf $5 forget that but you can look at it as 2 point fix you get Live Help and also you can upgrade that toon with some inventory and keycode carry upgrade when they do fix the account and I promise you given you have the time they can 100% fix this.
Hope you get a result and have access right away ronbo191 due to purchases, Live Help hours are Monday-Sunday 08:00 AM- 07:00 PM CDT log into the Glyph loader then hit this link https://support.trionworlds.com/app/chat/chat_launch or the 'support' button in the loader and prepare to wait for some time. I played some other single player game in windowed mode while I waited with the live help chat box open in game screen.
Good luck to anyone else this is a hassle but 100% fixable given time in queue and also the puchase conditions.
Yes, they will fix your old account. I don't need any money though. I'm just trying to get his sorted for you. Just make sure you mention that you can log into a separate, new account but can't log into your old account. That will narrow down what's wrong.
No worries... I wouldn't play the game through Steam right now though.. they're having some client-lag issues that cause people to have problems and glitches during major arkfalls and player-centric events, etc.
But, either way I hope the response is quick.. but I'm betting it will take a few days. Good luck.
It really doesn't matter how long it takes you to type things. They are there to help.
If you're self conscious about it, maybe you can pre-type some of the things you want to tell them and just cut and paste it into the chat window.
