BTW I got up on the ship by using the light in that first room to play shadows with the box as opposed to just taking the box into the shadows with me.
Yup, as intended. There are 4/5 ways to solve that puzzle (and several others) throughout the game.

Great game so far - only thing that I'm worried about is that the first menu option is 'New Game' and will overwrite save progress if you're not paying attention and select it via force of habit.
Is there a save file on our drive locally that can be backed up or is it all held on Cloud?
Local save is under:
C:\[Program Files (x86)\]Steam\steamapps\common\Contrast\Binaries\Win32
Just copy all of the ContrastSave* files - they are all needed (there is one save, split into multiple load files, which is how we do chapter select).

Thanks, Sam.
Just completed Didi's meeting with her biological father. Really good story and puzzles/platforming know exactly where to draw the line before they become frustrating.
