Erratic zooming

I've found zooming in the game to be very erratic. I can either get very close up or far away but nothing intermediate.
I have my mouse wheel set to scroll 3 lines at a time. Is it possible this is somehow impacting the in-game zoom?

i've noticed this. but only when i have the game in a fast-forward mode. it hasn't happened to me in normal or pause yet

I've the same issue here (on Linux) Only far away or very close nothing in between.
It's independent from the gamespeed

And using the middle mouse button for moving the map is quite in convinient

We've added zoom sensitivity to settings. Please try to adjust. Are bounds enough?

It is pretty good but I had to set the sensitivity to minimum to get a noticeable difference.

I have my Windows set to 4 lines (no additional mouse software/driver installed), and at high zoom speed it takes 2 steps to go from full tele to full wide, and at the lowest zoom speed the size barely changes when scrolling. So the slider is definitely supposed to do something.

Do you have additional software installed, like Corsair or Logitech, which might cause this? Do you have another mouse you can connect and try?
Do you have another computer that you can try the first mouse on?

Yeah. It's just not linear??? When zooming back in from zoomed all the way out you get 4 spins of the wheel do virtually nothing. Then the last 2 or 3 spins zoom in massive chunks at a time. Every time, I just over zoom.

Mouse wheel is not linear itself and depends not only on angle but on turning speed too. We will increase range of sensitivity in next patch.
