"Failed to start the game (unknown error)"

I cannot run the game without having this message. I already delete the appcache in the steam folder etc but it don't work. And I tried to re-install the game. Anyone having the same issue ?

First; please do not post the same post twice. That is against forum guidelines. I will lock the other post in General discussions.

Now to try and help you. Could you post your computer information including what video card you use? OS platform 21bit or 64 bit etc. Do you have the set to automatically update?

Uh sorry, I deleted the other post after writing this one, maybe it took few minutes to be done !
So, yes my game is set to automatically update, but I re-downloaded the game today, so I don't know from when I got that bug, since I uninstall it 3 months ago ! But it used to work fine even my configuration is very weak :

Windows 7 Familial Premium SP 1 32 bits
Process : AMD A4-3305M APU with Radeon HD Graphics 1.90Ghz
4,00 go RAM
Video card : AMD radeon HD 6480G

Sorry, my fault, I got two notifications and didn't notice the message saying the post had been deleted. I am still getting used to how things work in Steam forums.

You have 32 bit I see and there is some where a post from the devs about the 64 bit change over and what folks with 32 bit should do I will look for it and get back to you.

In the OP there are instructions as to what to do. Basically, RMc on Folk Tale go to properties then to the beta tab. Click on the spacce for beta names. Folk Tale 32 bit should be there. Click on that then close and wait for Steam to update. If Steam fails to update exit Steam and restart it.

If that doesn't solve the problem let us know and we will appeal to a higher authroity i.e. Games Foundry or someone more knowledgable than I am with this problem.
