Does this have a multiplayer mode by any chance?

I know in nintendo 3ds you could play with other players in the labyrinth if you go through one of the doors in the achievment room. I was wondering if it is the same here as well. I'm planning to play with my brother.

They unfortunately removed it I believe. Though I never used the multiplayer aspect back in the day so it's not a bummer for me

The multiplayer dungeon was converted and balanced for single player. If you still have the DS thats the only way to have multiplayer for RF3. It is unfortunate, but necessary . . . doing net code is NOT a small undertaking, even if the backend was steamworks supported. They also added newlywed and free costumes for owning the other RF games they've release on steam among many other positives if that is any consolation. You guys could still do couch play together ;)

Until you realize that you could go into multiplayer mode solo and do severe progression breaking by selecting to play as Sofia, eating a Super Fail(now known as Disastrous Dish...) for tremendous buffs, and powering your way through the game to start farming the best gear. Time also did not progress in multiplayer, so you had infinite item farming in a single day. There were also no penalties for wiping, so you could bash your head against the wall until you won.
