I struggle to find any positive things to say about this game. As a remaster of an old DS title, it undeniably looks, feels, and plays like one. It’s unclear if any quality of life features were added.

For instance, you can’t even reload a save without completely exiting and restarting the game, making the mini-games tedious to complete.

This is especially frustrating for completionists who aim to achieve first place in every event.

The textures appear to be upscaled from the original 240p DS textures, resulting in a very smudgy look.

For those interested in this genre, I would recommend exploring the vast array of indie games available here on Steam instead.

Definitely enjoying the game! Was hesitant at first since you can only be male, and I have played RF4/5 prior as a girl. I would say there is a lot of fun stuff to do in this game, especially the tasks making the interactions with the villagers more lively. Overall, I would definitely recommend it to a rune factory fan!
