Any way to use Widescreen Patch AND Reshade at the same time?
The Widescreen Patch uses its own d3d9.dll file. Reshade creates its own d3d9.dll file in order to work. Trying to use Reshade after installed the WS Patch throws up an error message saying there's already a d3d9.dll file and to delete it in order to use Reshade.

So...any way to use both at the same time?

I've read that post several times and it doesn't seem to have anything to do with what I'm asking. That post is about getting controller support to work with widescreen and I already have those working fine. I don't see how anything in that post relates to getting widescreen to work with Reshade, unless I'm missing something. :S

Thanks man, it worked.
I was a little confused because a lot of the steps in that post don't relate to what I needed it for and Defiance already uses d3d9 so no need to use d3d8to9, but once I realized all that it worked like a charm!

I'm going to put the relevant steps here in case anyone else needs to do this and is having difficulty:

1. In the Defiance installation folder rename "binkw32.dll" to "binkw32.asi"
2. Install the Defiance Widescreen Patch like normal.
3. Rename d3d9.dll to d3d9.asi.
4. Go to https://github.com/ThirteenAG/Ultimate-ASI-Loader and download the dinput8.dll file (x86 version) and put it in Defiance's install folder.
5. Rename it from "dinput8.dll" to "binkw32.dll"
6. Install Reshade into Defiance like normal.

Now we can use Reshade in Widescreen! :D

Thnx, tested and confirmed - totally works (win10, Reshade 5.9.2 + Texmod HD mods). Cheers!

so for the last step where can i find this reshade?

i found the mod in nexus mods with the reshades you are talking about i think and am using texmod along with steam however it wont let me change resolution to anything higher than 1280x1024. Gives me a message "the selected display mode is not supported by your graphics card."

I run games that have higher graphical demands than this no problem; any idea what is happening?

My cape is always attached to something and stretching across the screen. It looks spiffy, but it kind of hampers the game play.

I've got this too. Exactly the same problem. Did you ever run across a fix?
