black screen!!!

I can run the game, but while i'm in i can't see anything, i just can hear the music and the button sounds... please help that's annoying!!! i have linux mint 18 and enough RAM and CPU to run it..
p.s. i already tried with integrity check tool but it changed nothing.. :(

First, try updating your graphics card drivers if you are not using integrated graphics. If that doesn't work, try adding:

-dxlevel 95
or
-dxlevel 90

to Launch Options in the game's properties (via Steam Library).

so i uninstalled/reinstalled nmrih, i rebooted my computer and now i can see the splash screen on startup, i guess because the drivers update worked.. but the game closes in 4/5 secs.. so i fixed a problem but now i cannot even enter the menu....!! D:

Now try using both -dxlevel 90 or -dxlevel 95 as Launch Options. Try one at a time and see if at least one of them work.

none of them worked.. :( I noticed that when I run the integrity check tool after the game crashes it tells me that 1 file is broken.. i mean this happens each time i run the game, if i use the integ.check tool twice wiithout run the game, this doesn't happen, it tells me that everything is all right...

From what I know, this is a DirectX related issue. Do you have a graphics card or integrated graphics that can run DirectX 9 at least? All versions below that are not supported.

4 Gb RAM
intel celeron N2840 @2.16 GHz x2
grafic card- intel HD family
..i'm pretty sure my computer can run directx9 because i played lots of games already (with/without steam/wine) even ''heavier'' ones, without dx9 it could be not possible i guess..

i fixed it!! i deleted the config.cfg file in nmrih folder then used -sw -autoconfig in option launch tool..! YEEAH! :D
