Impossible for players to "win" in Survival Mode
I currenty run my own dedicated server, I have it set to 20 mintues per match. Now, once the survival map has been running for 20 mintues and atleast one player is still alive (its up to wave 5 or 6 at this point) the match ends on a draw (kinda) and the server moves on to the next map.

My issue is this: Is it possible to survive Survival Mode or not? The achievements make me think so, maybe until after wave 10? or dose it go on wave after wave forever until A) All the players die before the current wave ends, or B) Until the sever match timer runs out?

Why dont You just set a higher time per match?

I might, but I;m concered that if Survial Mode gose on forever and say for example I set the timer to 60 mintues then it will be stuck on that map for 60 mintues which might piss off some players on my sever.

You might get rescued by army if You make it long enough and didnt lose any zones. You need to use all supplies. After that they might get You out and You won the map.

If You want to change map manually type in "map mapname" in console.
Some servers have the option rtv (rockthevote). Players can type rtv in chat and if enough players do so, there will be a mapchange.

I know how to change the maps. I just would like to know if its possible to win in survival mode or if it gose on forever until the timer ends

It is possible, happens at wave 10

you can win survival if you stop shooting slow moving zombies and wasting all your ammo but good luck having everyone doing this
Survival Mode is certainly possible to survive but it's a poorly implemented idea. It seems the developers thought a horde mode would work with their mechanics. While it does in theory it's just not really that fun. The Objective based maps are where they should of put their focus. Survival Mode is just terribly implemented.

Not every map is 10 waves.. Night of the Living Dead is 8 waves for instance. I haven't attempted any others but I'm sure it varies.

I managed to get "rescued" in Northway, don't know if every survival map has a rescue but most do I think.

Is this not what most players do? Only in objective games have I met players who use all their ammo, on survival every player I have seen has been careful.

It certainly should not be changing map mid round - it should wait for the current round to be over after time is up before changing. If this isn't the case then I guess it isn't functioning correctly.

Mines doesn't even come up saying "draw" or anything, after the timer it just cuts out and moves on.
Only reason I lost was because I was the only one alive, looking around for weapons and after I found a gun with 30 bullets I forgot the objective..lol

It also lages out my server in the final waves where everyone's ping gose up 100+ at the same time when the map spawns 150+ zombies.
