Too damn dark!! Can it get brighter?

Does anyone know a way to make the game brighter as it has become impossible for me to play, i have turned up the brightness but is there anything else i can do ? i would apriciate all the help i can get

With sv_cheats 1 you can use mat_fullbright 1 to see everything, but this game is about darkness, fear and surviving

thanks this helps but it does ruin the game a little bit :)

We are aware of this issue with people running the game on a Mac. It will be fixed in an upcoming patch.

There is a brightness adjustment option in the Video settings. If that doesn't help you can can probably use your video card to manually adjust your Brightness, Contrast, and Gamma settings.
