The less colour, the less health.
Thats the thign of the game. I know its not exactly realistic but this is a good feature that makes the whole game challenging. Not knowing exactly the ammount of damage you can take.
Think twice your actions and be catious.
Learn to adapt. Not every game needs a health bar.
Did mario have a HUD? Eh, regardless I agree. No HUD please. Learn to adapt.
I gotta agree with this^^ The same goes for a stamina meter: if/when you hear loud breathing and feel your character getting slower or being unable to hit stuff, that means you're temporarilly out of stamina and gotta wait a couple of seconds to recharge. This forces you to keep your stamina in the back of your head at all times instead of just looking at a bar and simply deducing how many hits you have left.
I personally love the fact that there are no visible bars of any sort on the default screen as it really adds to the "realism" factor for me :)
