The MP5 feels rather underpowered if anything. Players tend to automatically default to the M9/Glock with a maglite, as the combo is still half the weight of a MP5. That, and the sights are rather restrictive, hits as hard as the 9mm pistols (less even, if you count the focus mode), and it's not all that accurate, it is nothing more than just another ammunition resource via unloading the magazine and using in a pistol.
Maybe giving the MP5 the chance to spawn with a tactical handguard would give it a fair chance, at least until players realize it is still heavier than a pistol/maglite combination.

Get out
it would be nice to have it now) since game came to have variants of guns)
also, if it would be implimented, it would be great to have it as default spawn in brooklyn, since it's police station and all that stuff)
I'll admit that the mac-10 is good for tight situations, but I have never got a insta-kill headshot with it. Except for children and crawlers. (sorry for being off topic)
