a question for the devs, what will happens to this game when source 2 came out?
you will update this ? or make a second version like nmrih 2 ?
and in case of a second version considering source 2 is free will nmrih 2 be free ?

The devs have said that NMRIH 2 is going to be developed on the Unreal 4 Engine, and will be sold for a reasonable price. They won't build NMRIH2 on the Source 2 engine.

As someone who has NO idea how the code process works, since I just make the music, I would say that one big limitation with Source and NMRiH 1 is that we don't have FULL access to the engine. As Source 2 is free to use, if it has an effortless migration process then who knows what the future holds. If it would require a ton of reworking, then that could change things. Either way, that whole aspect is all speculation as we have to wait and see what the full picture looks like.

NMRiH 2 is going to be a paid sequel built on Unreal 4 engine and there are no plans for migration of NMRiH 1 to Source 2 at this time.

Lots planned, and as for a release it is too early to say. nmrih on Source is here to stay as well, we are not backing down from providing whatever fixes and content our manpower can support!

Wow, I had no idea you guys had a sequel in mind.

I'm definitely keeping my eyes open for that then. This free title has grown into a very enjoyable and realism-oriented zombie apocalypse game, and the only zombie game I pay more time and attention to is Left 4 Dead 2. The fact that you guys are still adding new updates and content is great too. A sequel that expands on what you've already accomplished sounds like a really interesting opportunity.

You´re so right!
This game has a better support then many other expensive titels.
We would be very happy when Nmrih2 releases, now we waiting for the next update of the mod :)
