New zombie variants
There are currently walkers, runners and children zombies in this game, and I would like to see more ideas for zombies. ( not ridiculous zombies like in L4D or resident evil, etc. )
However, I am not sure if adding more zombies would ruin balance. ( assuming that those zombies themselves are balanced enough ) Suggest your valid ideas here.

These zombies may or may not be map/area/objective specific.

Infected dog
- Has a very fast movement speed ( will catch up a survivor unless he is running ) and a small hitbox like the child zombie
- Some may not go straight for survivors at the start of the wave spawn, but wander around large areas in the map instead.
- Emits a growl, and starts barking before charging to survivors
- Sharp teeth vastly increases the chance of bleeding
- is a one hit kill to any body part

Fallen survivor ( rarely spawned or located in a locked room )
- same stats
- can be seen wearing a backpack and a holster, sometimes a bandana
- Has a chance of carrying 1 usable item which may include
an empty gun
a bloody melee weapon
a key or an item for a objective

Military zombie
- spawn frequency depends on the wave, map and location
- typical US soldier wearing helmets and stuff
- Kevlar makes it immune to bodyshots ( but who would shoot zombies in the chest in this game anyways )
- Helmet provides some headshot resistance, need a focus shot to kill it in one shot

And these are just more variations for normal zombies that have same stats.

FEMA agent
- can be seen wearing a damaged hazmat suit that says FEMA on the back

Pilot
- Has a headset and a mic

Hobo
- is a hobo

We need a Gaben in there somewhere!

We could call it a Gabe-i-chu and it sheds its hair continuosly and eats discarded hamburgers and EA executives for food!

but seriuously, i agree the game could do with a stronger type zombie, more health or more dmg or such

this, i like this. i like the idea of a fallen survivor that could drop useful supplies (hey, a couple bullets are better than no bullets right?) and whatnot. id support that.

Oh HAIL nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

I tried to make it not overpowered as possible, making it noticed by survivors with the growl and barking, and the one hit kill thing. Mabye it's too punishing, I can change a bit.

- Lower damage
- cannot infect people
- Eyes glow in the dark
- Stopped by low placed boards and incapable of breaking them

But the devs have flat out said "our virus does not affect animals". That's why I'm saying hail nooooooo to this suggestion, because the suggestion itself is the real zombie, it refuses to stay dead lol

You can make your game glitch a bit by switching to your desktop and back into the game. Sometimes some zombies appear to be dragging themselves along the floor (which they are not, if you try to attack them you will notice they still take damage to where their body would be if they appeared standing to you). I think those would be a neat idea. Crawling/proning zombies could outrun even the lowest of barricades, which otherwise stop all zombies including children.

Oh. I wasn't aware of that.

Hmm, It seems like a good idea. Unrelated thing, would the devs add an ability to severe zombie's arms and limbs?

I'm actually surprised that nobody has suggested this on previous posts on the forums yet, It sounds good.
Slower but more resiliant to knockback so peope can't just repeat click and bash?

Most of these can just be done with basic reskins if anyone was up to it.

We already have crawling zombies planned as well as body-armored zombies (SWAT and National Guard) wearing ceramic vests and kevlar helmets.

We also plan on adding in looting, for zombies to drop items to be looted from their bodies on random chance, some higher than others.

Fat zombies we had also discussed in the past.

We will NEVER add zombie animals as that violates some of the basic science behind our mythos.

I think there should a Noticeably-Infectious Zombie, that has a 100% chance of infecting you. I would use my gun on that kind of zombie.
