Easiest and hardest objective maps?
So far I think Toxteth is probably the easiest. What maps are the easiest and hardest for you?

For me easiest map is broadway and hardest chinatown. From survival maps hardest I think is Campblood because you can't see anything without flashlight.

Really? I thought Chinatown was considered easy and FEMA the hardest one.

chinatown is easy af
nmo_fema can be listed as one of the harder maps, and nmo_cleopas is the eeasiest imo,it's kind of long and without spawn point (for DEAD players) but it's pretty easy

My ascending difficulty rank (only official maps):

1) nmo_toxteth: there is absolutely no challenge
2) nmo_broadway: only a couple problematic chokepoints, but still very very easy
3) nmo_cabin: same as before
4) nmo_chinatown: more runners and the sewer section can be challenging for new players
5) nmo_lakeside: the labyrinth-like layout is the only "hard" part
6) nmo_zephr: only runners at the end are "hard"
7) nmo_cleopas: for first time players it can be brutal, but once you learn the map, it's easy
8) nmo_fema: only real "hard" part is the crank and wooden door underground
9) nmo_junction: a lot of chokepoints, plus runners in the tunnel
10) nmo_brooklyn: a lot of chokepoints and pushing the cart solo is not so easy)

Anyway, all of these maps can be soloed pretty easily, even on Nightmare, and pale in comparison to custom maps. This would be the second list using custom maps, which are hard even on Classic difficulty:

1) nmo_sweden1_v1: it should be a lot harder, but there are many exploits that dumb down the difficulty. There are some really cool and complicated objectives, but you basically skip all of them or ruin their difficulty

2) nmo_night_forest_test: the difficulty lays on the maze-like design and that the compass does not help much. Other than that it’s pretty standard difficulty for a custom

3) nmo_ghostbuster: invisible zombies can be hard to adjust to, but when you learn that and you know how to kill runners without a problem, the map is not that difficult

4) nmo_oc_waking_dead: your success is largely dependent of zombie movements and there’s one lethal chokepoint, since there are no weapons in the map. If you know how to rush properly, then it’s not a big deal

5) nmo_ravenholm_v2: this map has some heavy shambler respawns and learning the objectives can take a long time. If you exclude the tunnel section, which rarely appears and it’s unfair as f*ck, then the map is moderately difficult

6) nmo_anxiety: pretty difficult map, although it could be a lot harder if it didn’t have so many supply drops and so many respawn points

7) nmo_emergency_1101: this map can seem impossible at first, since there is a ridiculous amount of runners and the snow slows your movements. However, there are so many tricks and exploits that make it beatable, and it’s just a question of not having horrendously bad luck and learning all the tricks. Still, pretty hard

8) nmo_urbanhazard_v4: this is where it gets hardcore. Many runners plague the entire map and they lurk in between chokepoints or street obstacles. Hopefully, there are pretty consistent strategies that can help you win. The ending is delirious, you can only win it by kiting the 50 plus runners you get at the same time. This is one of those maps that gets harder the higher the player count is

9) nmo_shelter_subterranean_a1: again, many runners plague the claustrophobic corridors and chokepoints. If you know how to kill runners and zombie children without a problem, then most of the map is not that difficult, but the arena ending is pretty brutal. Also, if you want to solo this, then you have to complete a pretty hard parkour section in order to get a chainsaw

10) nmo_underground_v1: insanely long map. Very heavy shambler respawns and high amount of runners mixed in between the shamblers and chokepoints. Very unforgiving to do solo, and there’s only a small chance a gene therapy will spawn, also only at the end

11) nmo_vertigo_v10: this one is tied with underground in difficulty imo. Here there are heavy shambler respawns throughout the whole map, with runners mixed in. But this is inside very narrow corridors, that pretty much require you to dominate melee combat. The chances of getting boxed in are very high

12) nmo_in_the_darkv2: very unforgiving map with an awfully unbalanced ending. Runners everywhere, some of them come from infinite respawns. It’s hard to maneuver through the map, a lot of props have collision and can cause your death if you are fighting runners. Sewer section has props that can get you stuck and you can’t even pick them up. The ending is just bananas, a very small room and you get an endless stream of runners right in your face. There are several exploits that make it beatable solo, but still, incredibly hard

13) nmo_subside_v5: this map is unique, in the sense that there is a f*ckton of weapons and ammo, but it’s so hard in itself that it doesn’t even matter. This map is the pinnacle of map design in NMRiH. Every section is hard, and needs to be played and practiced so many times to be good at them. Also, unless you use several exploits, the map is impossible to beat solo

NOTE: I’m ignoring many custom maps, because they are either easy, broken or confusing enough for me not to talk about them xdxd

Brooklyn in my opinion is definitely the easiest. And... ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥... Cleopas... because of it's size and time it gets to beat, definitely the hardest. * In my opinion *

Just tried Cleopas and I think that it's a lengthy map, but not really that hard. There's plenty of space to maneuver in the streets and not many runners or tough spots, just the two alleys full of zombies and the last objective.

Brooklyn is hectic if you do it solo, cause pushing the cart, the parked car, or extinguishing the fire while a huge horde of never ending zombies is swarming you in a place where it's easy to get cornered with all the damn cars is not easy at all.

Junction, Fema, and Chinatown are the only maps I like playing. Easiest of the 3 is probably Chinatown, Fema is the hardest, Junction is somewhere in the middle.

I just think Cleopas is the hardest because of the time it takes to beat. Most of the times, in a server, I am the only one that knows what to do... and then... I have to wander through the entire map just to get the three necessary items to call the helicopter. And anything could happen in the 20 minutes I spend bringing the objects. Getting trapped, getting ninjaed by silent runners or kids, dying by stupid reasons...

Staying alive for a long time while doing the objective completely by yourself is kinda hard in this game, you know.
maybe it's just me, though

Yeah, no kidding, I've done it myself since I mostly play solo. However, you can avoid zombies in most of the map since it's pretty big, it's the last part that can get really hectic if the zombies corner you in the store.

Also, getting infected in that last part solo is one of the most intense moments I've had in the game. Had to take 4 pill bottles to complete the objective.

The only way that the time it takes to beat a map is an issue is when you are infected and no gene therapy is around, or when you play in a server without anti-trolling measures, where players can ruin progress by starting callvotes.
