it is just OVER- populated ...
when people gonr the earth will regenerate again
Were depleting our resources, how is the earth not dying, please explain. I will agree with over population.
The thing is, humans aren't going to die until we ruin this planet via terraforming it into a garbage filled acidic wasteland, glass the surface with nuclear war or maybe we'll get lucky and discover how to leave BEFORE we destroy earth.
China was and are in clean up mode as I type.
The main issue with mankind is not the space used by said each individual, but the space taken by its essential and overly useless needs.
For example, considering the kind of meat/proteins source that human consumes. Some are easily renewable and cheap to produce (like bugs) while some other are super-destructive and produce plenty of non-renewable soils (Bovine cattle).
Whatever will happen in the future there will be a day where the sun will turn into a super nova or just deplete. This will be the definitive and final end of all live in this solar system.
If Mankind kills themselves or got killed by an asteroid and life comes back in any other form, this doesn’t matter at all. The end of the sun will be the end of the earth.
Mankind is the only hope to spread our life to the stars. This will happen in some billion years, but it will happen for sure. Regardless what we are doing on earth or not.
Therefore, space travel is the only chance for any life in the solar system.
To hope that any other species after Mankind my evolve space travel and do this instead of us is not very promising.
But... if we succeeded, the reward was to die, then find out it was just one big video game we lived in, and that we were just Avatars, controlled by our immortal souls which had been handicapped in order to see how we behaved in the game. Oh man, I hope this isn't all real or something! that would suck big time!
