Sorry to hear that you have been having trouble playing the game.
If this is persisting then I would recommend to complete the steps in our pc troubleshooting guide[www.ubisoft.com] in full to configure your device for the game.
Any trouble, just let us know.
- Ubisoft Support
Already did this, and its still the same. Even tried reinstalling the game & Ubisoft Connect. It was playable just fine, and the next day, it kept on crashing. Did anyone found a way to fix this already, aside from the pc troubleshooting guide, as those didn't help at all.
The settings folder is located here:
%USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Games\Watch Dogs Legion\
The config file is this one:
WD3_GamerProfile.xml
Also deleting these files inside the settings folder might help:
pipelinecache\1002-73ff-52171849-c7_pipelines.bin
pipelinecache\pso_usage_win64_out.bin
Not enough information. Tell us the exact moment the game crashes. If it's an immediate crash, it's probably related to game settings. See above.
if it crashes later after a couple of intro videos, it's probably overlays. Turn off Steam, Ubisoft Connect overlays, all other overlays you have, close all background software, just in case.
If it's later during loading screens, it's probably gfx settings, cache related. Clear you gfx card shader cache or change DirectX renderer either in game or through launch options adding -DX11 or -DX12 there, etc. etc.
