Mod to recruit ALL party members?
Since this is on PC now, do you guys think someone out there will make it so we can finally have all characters on the same playthrough?

Denuvo does not prevent modding.

It makes it a huge pita and takes forever to update mods when the game gets an update. It effectively makes them not worth the hassle. Denuvo just makes everything about the game worse.

It does not effect modding. At all. Any other complaints you want to make are fine, but it literally does nothing to the modding scene. Go check Nexus for the multitudes of mods for games with Denuvo, like RE4R with it's 1800 mods.

Someone should really upgrade all character models to the ones used in the now dead star ocean gacha game. It's really stupid they kept ugly super deformed characters.

I never got to play that game, but I think the models in SSR look great

Uhhh, people have been able to alter stuff easily with Cheat Engine codes, and I can confirm myself that the game's assets are barely obfuscated. Please think before talking, lol.

There are save files on nexus now with the ability to say have opera, ernest, and ashton in the same party.

lol..this is BS. People were modding skyrim when it had denuvo, so please stop spreading misinformation. This person does not know what they are talking about. I think this person is one of those people who always talks smack about denuvo.

And yes..skyrim when it was brand new had denuvo, and people still modded stuff into it on nexus. Check the earliest dates of the mods for proof.

Denuvo can prevent modding sometimes. Depends on how you're modding.

For instance, the update for Etrian Odyssey 3 that added Denuvo evidently irreparably broke ALL mods that had been made for the game (or at least the ones that mattered). Thankfully as Steam keeps previous versions of the game on file, you can still get the non-denuvo version if you want to use said mods.

I don't know if it would happen here, but saying Denuvo doesn't affect mods is extremely disingenuous.
Let's all agree Denuvo sucks and its impact on mods is "it depends."

Despite that, there are tools people can use for this game, but I don't think there's a way to have all the characters in party at once without just editing them in. Even if you expanded the maximum total party size from 8 to 16 or 17 that it would need (haven't counted)--and this is really just extending the bench roster limit--you still can't recruit them legitimately due to mutual exclusions.

Short version. just use a save editor to make the party you want if it matters to you that much.

To clarify, without some kind of rewrite on character limit in many areas... it currently will just make your game go wonky. I can add all characters using CE in SO2, you can scroll through all chars in equipment menu for example... but if you start bringing up some other things like formation or party changer, the game will soft lock. You can stop the soft lock by removing the added characters in CE.

Summary: Anything above 8 is bad :( That doesn't mean you can't remove and add characters you prefer within that limit though! I'm just not sure what impact that would have on impossible endings or other things like PAs/event dialogue... might be crash happy.

Also, PSX SO2 was crash happy when you had Opera, Dias, Claude and Ashton in battle at the same time. ( Gameshark codes... ) I doubt it would happen in this version though.
