I can't believe you're trying to ship a product like this. It looks like it plays good, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ are the controls bad.

OVERRIDER Has Changed

After we showcased OVERRIDER on Steam Next Fest in October we got a lot of feedback which showed us a lot of things we haven't been doing right. From movement mechanics, through enemy engagement to core loop. Over the past month our studio has been working hard to introduce design changes and now it's time to do another test.

Heya, I thought I'd just chime in with a little feedback from my own session. Do keep in mind that I can't run the demo at a stable 60 fps on 1080p though, which is not me criticizing the game, but just that it may have affected my judgement. Unlike a few others I saw, I do like the movements for the most part. It's nice to dash along, and it feels good to use the downhill boost properly. That said, I feel like the default boost is kinda too short - it seems that it drains 30-40% just to start it up thoug...

Baffling controls

Why am i actively going towards the direction i press? This makes sense in shooters, but here it's completely confusing and irritating to play with. The board should be treated as the vehicle it is, not as a character. Pressing forwards should be the only time it moves towards any direction, otherwise it should simply rotate. This is how it makes me feel....
