* High altitude: Mach 2.5+ (1,650+ mph, 2,665+ km/h)
* Low altitude: Mach 1.2 (900 mph, 1,450 km/h)
Also "maximum" is not that simple to tell, is it continuous or short-term maximum etc.
What kind of speeds do you experience in game?

Here's a screenshot of a F15C at about 40,000 feet at Mach 2.5 (just under).

A close up on the airspeed gauge:

To operate like that at those speeds requires a relatively light and clean aircraft, so loiter time is tiny and not that useful. Fun to go fast though.
Hope that helps.
Thank you, that makes sense, I think I was just not reading my gauges correctly, I'll check it out again later and see it on my system. I have only been looking at the number on the hud which reads M1.25 or whatever.
Thank you!
No problem sounds good!
