If you want to use programme for hosting then use:
1)Hamachi
2)Evolve
3)Tungle
But if you want to host game for playing with friends without programms then use this

port forwarding is way too risky, best way for someone to grab your ip. then you will get in trouble with your internet provider

not true in the slightest. ive been port forwarding from the age of 7 years old. never ever once had a problem. if you or someone near you has, that sucks, but that also means something probably wasnt done right or it didnt happen from port forwarding alone

edit: and NO YOU WONT GET IN TROUBLE WITH YOUR INTERNET PROVIDER LMFAO

i took your post seriously and then i saw that lmfao hahahahahahahahaha

me too i search how to play coop with a friend, but all the thing you have show seem to be in playing in commend consol or in game files, and i don't whant to take risk to get crash issue or to have literaly my steam not working anymore by playing in those sort of thing, so if someone know a other way, im all yes

when your port forwarding your basically questioning how strong is your routers firewall.

1. you can get tracked (dox)
2. you can get ddosed or dos
3. people can use your ip to mask their illegal activities , thus , you getting in trouble with your internet provider.

the only way to avoid this , is by purchasing yourself a vpn. but still then your vunerable to attacks

UPnP is another option but thats just as worse as PF lmao
