Cant find my fallout 3 game file location?
im trying to install some mods for fallout 3 but im unable to find where fallout 3 was installed i go to steam/steamapps/common/ but it isnt located there, i searched for it in my start menu but it still didnt give me a precise location, strangest of all fallout 3 is still playable...

turns out i was wrong. FO3 ini file is located at:

C:\Users\<username>\Documents\My Games\Fallout3

It seems to depend for me it is located at C: / Programs(x86) / steam / steamapps / common / fallout 3

Go to your Steam Library, right-click on Fallout 3, select Properties.
Go to the Local Files tab.
Click "browse local files" button and it should open the folder where the game is installed.

Mine's in steamapps/common right above Fallout 4 and New Vegas.

Then again, I didn't install it to C:\ drive, because of WIndows Insecurity Policies make me want to cook my computer in the microwave and kill Bill.
