How to enable DLC?
I've purchased Fallout 3 GOTY under the impressiont that it came with all the DLCs. However, after playing for a while I have yet to see a DLC show up. I read on other forums about enabling the DLCs. If anyone could help me I would greatly appreciate it.

At what point are you in the game? The DLC messages come up AFTER you leave the vault for the first time.

To activate the dlc: run the launcher, click Data Files, put checks in the boxes next to the dlc names.

Now i am a little confused with your question. It seems that you think that the DLC's automatically start when you leave the vault/ activate them on your pip boy. To begin an add on, you have to travel to starting location. For example, to start Point Lookout, there should be a map location near Rivet City that has a steamboat. You have to go to the location to start the add on. Disregard if this is not your problem. Your question made me think you are new to fallout, so i wanted to help if that is the problem.

When I do this, I click play, the game loads up, and when I click on downloadable content, nothing is their except "NEW CONTENT AVAILABLE" offering me to buy the DLCs I should already have.

No, click "data files" on the little launcher window that pops up -- the window that has the options:

Play
Options
Data Files
Tech Support
Exit

It kinda does though, sure, you have to go to the right location, but like all missions etc, as soon as it becomes available to accept, it pops up in your pipboy's computer. exiting the vault is the first point it all becomes avilable to start so you get the messages for them.

That means nothing, ur dlc is still going to work. When you start your new game u'll get ur messages of new quests when you get into the wasteland.
It happens to me too, it's simply because you got the dlc thru steam, and the dlc shown there is through GFWL or some crap. Either way it's not a big deal, ur dlc will work
