How do I holster and aim down sights?

Ive pressed every key I could think of and none have worked.
Can you even holster or aim down sights?

I believe holding R is the default for holstering. Aiming down sights is not part of the game but there are mods that incorporate it such as:

R is reload and held down for holster

FO3 is great not being able ot aim down the ♥♥♥♥ iron sieghts of some guns plus 10mm wepons are the best i wish there was a 10mm assault rifle
