So basically go pc.
because alot of people have been having similar problems on 8. I have it on 7 and it runs perfectly fine on mid-high settings.
I disagree with the keyboard and mouse argumernt, but I will conceed to the mouse offering a more acurate aim out of VATS. But the 360/ps3 controller puts all of the controls within a very comfortable range of each other making reaction times alittle better, at least for me.
Butt ...
If you know your way around the file system and can do some really simple file editing you can use the Unoffical patch which brings the game to life with lots of missing content that was in the game but just didn't make it to the offical release .
I play it with a joypad on m bigscreen myself and it's a blast ..
I agree but fallout not really a said FPS sure its in first person but its a rpg and not you basic run and gun shooter game. Not bashing you or anything hehe :)
If they ever make a joypad with a trackball as on the roght side it would end the problem.
