Game of the year edition.....WHERES THE DLC?
So the game of the year edition is supposed to have all the dlc included, and when i had this game on my 360 back in the day, it would give you the missions right away even if it was a new game. so far im not seeing any proof that dlc is included. Can anyone help me understand what the issue is? is it a seperate download? is it in there and im not finding it?

when you start the game by clicking on the game in your library, the launcher will appear, won't it, it's the box with the power armoured soldier on the left and options on the right..this is the launcher.
In the launcher, instead of clicking 'play game'...don't click that...go down to [EDIT]
''Data files''..thanks Dos.click that and then tick all the dlc boxes that you'll see...then when you play...it'll all be there..

Hit Data Files after launching the game the first time and they should appear. The PC version also requires Games for Windows Live, and unless you move your saves/DLC, those are unavailable without that active.

The PC version also requires Games for Windows Live...
...to be installed, which usually happens the first time you run the game. The version provided is however very old and Windows 8 doesn't like it.

i see people have replayed to your post, unlike mine were i asked the same thing. but iv done all what people have sed and it still dont work. i never got asked to put in my CD-key when i 1st loaded it. iv clicked all the DLC still dont work. i talked to microsoft to get it sorted out and they just told me to do the same thing. i just feel like i got ripped off when buying this game.

Actually once you start the game, when the first fallout meny pops up, thats where the data files will be located. it worked for me, it has nothing to do with the cd key

Thank you steam community!!! now about that War Z refund......

That's where you enable or disable plugins. The files themselves are located here:
\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 3 goty\Data

Hi.
How can I check if dlc is enabled? I checked all Data Files in launcher, but when I log into LIVE it still keeps saying that there's new content available and all DLC can be bought. What's that all about?

It's because the DLC is owned through Steam, which doesn't register in GfWL even though it's what actually manages the DLC and saves. I have the same problem, so don't feel alone. :/

If you had the original retail version of the game there were two ways to get the DLC: on disc* and from the GFWL Marketplace. The latter plopped the files you purchased in a non-obvious location and you had to be logged into LIVE in order to play with them.

*Mothership Zeta not included.

I have GOTY edition, original of course. Only managed to visit Megaton so far and already regret every cent I spent on this game. It's just crash after crash :(

As for the problem. DLCs are normally active in the game even they still show on GfWL list of content to download, Mothership Zeta included,

I consider my CD copy WITHOUT the dlc as the original edition...but I'm just being picky LOL

Is your hardware up to the task of playing the game?

Yes, definitely it is. Even game itself sets all settings to ultra on autodetect.
