Y? The saves take up basically no space. Mine takes up 7.01 MB.

U not gonna get better then that in the current terabyte landscape. And if u think the cloud will save u I got bad news. Petabyte is next, and yes they r heading in that direction.

Late edit:I remember getting my first computer. XP in 2001. It had 18 GB Hardrive & thought "man thats big". LOL!!!! My current Ram on my near 10 year old laptop is 16 GB. ♥♥♥♥ gotta outta hand real quick.

GOG edition works out of the box, as all GOG games do. Steam suck big balls when it comes to supporting older games

love this game, tried to play this via steam a long time ago and it could never launch no matter what hack i tried or looked up. completely sad about this.

Would recommend a clean reinstall before trying it, but there is also this. Walk-through is only 1 minute and 25 seconds long. Alot of people including AMD users have said it works.

It even helped me after that pointless 1.7.0.4 update which further broke the damn game while fixing nothing.

Games should work regardless after purchase. Having to go through a modding tutorial is kind of insane after purchasing a product. Should work out of the box.

mine sure did on windows 10, modding I'd suggest GoG or GoG exes.

First downloaded it from my Xbox game pass and it didn't work so bought the Steam bundle and its doing the same thing. Installed, clicked play. Starts up but when I click play from main menu, it closes the whole game out.

For me it was an issue with the German version of the game. I suppose they didn't update the German version so you still need the xlive.dll.
