I'm not sure why you are asking this question because when you install the game it also installs the required .NET software.

"Each new version of the .NET Framework retains features from the previous versions and adds new features. The CLR is identified by its own version number. The .NET Framework version number is incremented at each release, although the CLR version is not always incremented. For example, the .NET Framework 4, 4.5, and 4.5.1 include CLR 4, but the .NET Framework 2.0, 3.0, and 3.5 include CLR 2.0. (There was no version 3 of the CLR.)"

Thats it, it doesnt. It causes an error and ask to disable windows features before it can install net framework 3.x. I dont know if it is possible to have both netfx versions or more installed at the same time.

yeah i know how to fix it but thats not the question, the question is netfx 3.x and 4.x at the same time installed, good or bad....and nessecary yes or no...

Don't mess with it. Steam installs the .net stuff you need. It's not bad to have both on at the same time, it's common.
