Fallout 3 - Game of the Year Edition

Alternate Quest! (A NEW WAY TO PLAY!)
So I've been playing Fallout 3 for a very long time now (Hours don't reflect this since I had it on console and 2 other computers with the CD). Probably clocked somewhere between 1,000-2,000 hours. So I've finally gotten quite bored with the game. I've played hundreds of different mods, and I wanted to try something different.

So using console commands I disabled the main quest from the start and using the alternate start mod (along with Fallout Wanderers edition), I've effectively turned Fallout 3 into a true sandbox. I created a slaver character so he automatically started in Paradise Falls skipping the main quest with Vault 101. Most of the other towns are hostile too and the slavers have different stuff to say to me as opposed to the usual, "we got a badass over here" stuff.

I'm having tons of fun just scaveging the wasteland (I also have some slaver mods, so its even more fun).

Has anyone else tried this before? or has anyone just not done the main quest? I mean I've done the quest tons of times so it gets boring after awhile. The game feels much more different.

I'm thinking about creating a mod that disables the main quest to go along with alternate start mods, and I know it's possible since Obscurum - Unnatural Selection (a fallout horror mod), claims to do it. Plus console commands.

I did something like this, awhile ago there was a mod where you could spawn friendly Enclave. Make a squad of 6 and wander around, oppress the weak, attack bos hq, just having fun being in the good ol merica Enclave.

I didnt use the console command to disable the quest (that sounds awesome though), plus it was one of the late game"im bored as hell'' kinda things to do.
