Fallout 3 Demo
Was there ever a Fallout 3 demo and what was the release date for the demo? According to info that I've found on the internet, the official release date for the finished game was on Oct 28, 2008 but I've found actual saved game .fos files that I saved in my hard drives dated "‎Monday, ‎January ‎1, ‎2007, ‏‎12:58:03 AM"

So now I'm confused as to what actually are the right dates.

There seems to have been a Bethesda booth at E3(?) that gamespy wrote an article about published July 16, 2008. [http://pc.gamespy.com/pc/fallout-3/890651p1.html]

There are also various references to a "demonstration" of Fallout 3 during E3 2007. Hard to find any references of a demo made public in 2007...
