Unfortunathy i startedthis quest later in the game. So the molerat repelant stick kills them in on hit so teh quest will not update is there any console command i can use to advance the quest?

But there is indeed a command to help you out

First of all, visist http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Gamebryo_console_commands and scroll down to the "Quests" commands.

I am not sure what command you need exactly, but I would go for "getstage <base id>"
WARNING: Create a savegame before playing around with the commands!

unfortunately mqnual advancing ethq uestd oes nto work. Onkyw ay around is is to Lie and thus be ineliable for the best reward ow well. I even tryed reseting the quest but then she will not talk to me
