Fallout 3 - Game of the Year Edition

Fallout 3 - Game of the Year Edition

What cool places would you suggest to visit?
Haven't played F3 since its release (+ I was a lil ♥♥♥♥), so I remember the game partially, but I played New Vegas like a narc, going through the game a thousand times. Now I am playin The Tale of Two Wastelands (F3 and FNV in one game), and F3 world is huge, but empty at times, and exploring may lead to not so interesting places.
So I would like to ask you guys, if you know some cool places or maybe some secret interesting stuff - what places would you suggest to visit? And if you have such places to suggest, could you just give me some pointers on where to go,maybe there are some landmarks nearby?
I am asking you, because guides on the internet straight up spoil everything...
Thank you kindly.

Dunwich Building - lower left corner of the map, might be the only office building in that area.

Explore residential area behind Capitol Building called Seward Square.

Red Racer Factory (south of the map, not far away from Nuka Cola Plant).

Andale town (also not far away from Nuka Cola Plant).

Republic Of Dave (upper right corner of the map)

Jury Street Metro Station (it's not far away from Evergreen Mills and Vault 112). Not sure if metro itself has anything of interest, but make sure to visit shops that are located nearby.

Arlington Cemetery. Try to find a metro station that leads there and explore the cemetery.
Thanks a lot:reheart:
of all the mentioned, I only knew about Dunwich building, but holy moly thats a list, finally some cool stuff)
Get lost and explore every inch of the Metro!
Brother in Christ, metro is like a mythical misty forest where you get lost, lose your mind and die to some dubious creature. Hell nah, metro is ass:LeonRE4:

And yet I ride it everyday IRL, and BGS did a pretty good job modeling the feel...

But if you have a good sense of direction and don't end your session down there (short term memory plays big in navigation and tunnel crawling), it's very intense and interesting to explore. Too many whelps who can only find their way with GPS, LOL.

Same with Rivet City, though who modeled that screwed up the layout since it defies physical reality. There is a good mod that straightens Rivet City layout, highly recommended.
Evergreen Mills. Paradise Falls. Bethesda Ruins.

Underworld.

Grayditch.

Bigtown.

Next to Arlington Cemetery is Mama Dolce’s

Girdershade -> Nuka Cola Plant >Red Racer Factory

Happy to help, would be cool to hear your opinion on them.
beyond the invisible walls, there are some interesting looking places. Especially around Rivet City.
many cool places to explore, i wouldn't spoil it for yourself, just follow those unexplored location markers and you'll find stories, quests and lore, some cool locations that could be interesting involve a military base you need to retrieve keys for, theres a quest tied to it and you find some "cool" stuff there, theres also some tapes from a certain family you should keep an eye out for, that leads to another secret location with some interesting lore and things to loot.
it's a game of exploration and discovery, granted what you do there might not be all that interesting, but just pretend you're a wasteland survivor looking for your dad, and, you know, walk everywhere there is to walk. there's hundreds of little things to see...

and since no one mentioned it yet, stop by Oasis and meet Harold... just, you know, don't stare.
