Fose wont work help?

I've tried to run a few versions of fose with fo3 none seems to work the versions of fose that I've tried was the fose from the nexus that version is 1.7.0.3 and then I got a error message saying I am running fose 1.7.0.4 or something then I've tried to run Current stable version: v1.2 b2 and that then gave me the unknown version error message and then I've tried Latest loader 1.7.0.3 from the fose site and that gave me the same error message I am running fose 1.7.0.4 or something so I gave up and seeking help on steam anyone know which fose I should use that will work?

1) did you use the FO3 anniversary patcher? FOSE won't run without it. It rewinds the game to 1.7.0.3

2) use the beta version of FOSE. ( v1.3 b2 ) That's the one I'm using right now and having zero issues.

3) There are guides here (top of page ... look for the word guide) that explain all of this and far more. Do yourself a favor and either read those or go to youtube where there are a ton of how-to mod videos for FO3.

Yes I've tried every possible one but could only run fo3 with the default launcher without fose.
