QUICK QUESTION: Minizing the game but cant maximize.

Hello, i am having problems maximizing the game once i minimize, the reason i do that is because people chat with me on steam but since the overlay is gone because of the fix people post to help stop the freeze/crashes for some reason, the game wont maximize.

The only solution i can think of is running in window screen though i hate seeing the borders and the desktop.

Anyone know the reason why it won't maximize and also any possible fix?

Thank you for any replies and information, don't want to seem like a complainer but would definately want to know why these things happen.

crtl+alt+del and then cancel it, brings back the mouse pointer for me. sometimes i can't maximize because it's missing. sometimes there's just no hope at all. the longer it stays mimimized, the less chance of recovery. i don't let people interupt me while i'm playing the game.

ah alright, Thanks for the info. probably have to set my status offline so i dont get interrupted

On my latest playthrough I'musing a mod called either Fallout Fullscreen or Fake Fullscreen that I found on the Nexus. It let's you safely and smoothly alt-tab out, as long as there is a window to tab To, then you can focus on the game again when needed. Hope it helps...and Good Luck.
