NPC's Are Hostile At Galaxy News Radio Station

Right ok I've started this game for the first time today and I've just gotten to the Galaxy News Radio Station and basically the Super Behemoth appears, we kill it blah blah blah. But after about 10 seconds of killing all the NPC's become hostile and start shooting me and then I die. This has happened twice in a row now and I'm wondering is this a bug or what?

No I only used Guns with bullets, not rockets or anything or grenades. It always happens around 10 seconds of beating it. It's happened 3 times now and I'm at a loss. On the 3rd time I hid away in the nearby building and about 20 seconds after that they stormed the building and killed me.

Tried that as well. They don't stop shooting me, can't even yield to them.

go back to an earlier save, before the battle and try again. this time just let everyone else do the killing. do you have companions with you?

Nope no companions. I'll try the earlier save thing though and not do any shooting it could just work.

Nope not shooting doesn't work. They just turn hostile after a while for some reason.

looks like you got on their bad side early on. you must have killed some brotherhood earlier and didn't notice or something.

Yeah maybe. It's a shame though, by the way does anyone know if joining the Outcasts affect this at all? Because I'm a Outcast member.

that would be it. they are "outcast" from the brotherhood.

:O Well that's kind of annoying. Never played any other Fallout before so I don't know any of the lore or anything. Looks like I have to restart my save or get stronger so they don't murder me every time I show up.

If you make them angry, just leave for 3 full days and they'll love you again when you come back. I think the key to press to sleep was T if I remember
