Fallout 3 - Game of the Year Edition

Fallout 3 - Game of the Year Edition

Need som help with the Sprint Mod from the Nexus site.
I have installed the Sprint Mod from the Nexus site here:
http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/1854/?
and WOW is it fantastic! I can't believe how seamless it's implemented into the game, it feels just like a native function.

What a great mod!
Seriously^^ It even has 2 extra perks with it!

However, I seem to be doing something wrong.
The one thing that ISN'T working for me is changing the amount of AP drained while sprinting.
It's supposed to be configured with the console command: "SprintAPMult"
But if I for instance type: "SprintAPMult 0.75" (1 is default) the console just tells me: "Script command "SprintAPMult" not found."

Otherwise the mod works perfectly. And I've tried both installing it manually and using the Nexus ModManager but there's no difference.

Does anyone here know what might be the issue, or some other forum where this has already been discussed and solved?

Thanks, I appreciate it :)

I tried a few times by writing some variations of
player.SprintAPMult 0.75
player.SprintAPMult 1
player. SprintAPMult 0.75

and it always tells me: Syntax Error. Could not parse this line.

Of course I could just be using player. wrong ^^
Since it's saying Syntax Error.

Do you have FOSE installed?

Yes I do, and the in-game instructions note tells me that it is running properly in FOSE mode.

Almost seems like the author listed the wrong name for the variable. You might be able to find it in FO3Edit.

EDIT: I looked at the mod with FO3Edit, SprintAPMult is indeed the correct variable name. No idea why it isn't working for you in-game though.

How strange!
Well okay, thanks for trying.

Can you think of any way to edit it manually somewhere?
Like is the console editing an ini file that can also be accessed manually?

I figured out what we're doing wrong. You have to type this to use the command: set SprintAPMult to X, where X = the desired number. For example: set SprintAPMult to 0.35
