Operation Anchorage
Hi everyone, hope you can help.

I bought the game in summer sale last week and want to start playing the add-ons now. But i dont get the radio signal to start oparation anchorage. i checked the laucher and it says that the dlc is activated

The quest title can throw you off if it's your first playthrough. You want to look for "Aiding the Outcasts" in your Quests. It isn't called Operation Anchorage in-game.

thanks for the quck reply, but thers no such quest and no outcast distress in radio section

when you start the launcher, press the "Data files" button, my DLCs wasnt checked as default.

right. it isn't set as default, but when i first started the game i checked all DLCs

nope. nothing. just the main game + (not working) DLCs

btw the other DLCs also don't work. there should be a distress for the pitt right?

A radio signal, yeah. You should have also gotten a pop-up saying your level cap was increased from 20 to 30, which is part of the Broken Steel DLC.

another thing that could work is to verify the game files, see if anything is missing, but other than that i have no idea what it might be thats causing it.

hahaha.. problem solved.. i found a data telling me:

[GeneralWarnings]
SGeneralMasterMismatchWarning=One or more plugins could not find the correct versions of the master files they depend on. Errors may occur during load or game play. Check the "Warnings.txt" file for more information.

So i had to download the update to Fallout 3 Update 1.7
now everything works fine

That's weird... the Steam version is already updated to 1.7, you shouldn't need the use that patch. It's for people with the old cd-rom version of the game.
