Pistol with 7,000 damage, found once, need to find again.
So, to keep this short, back before any DLC were even released I once found an overpowered pistol, maybe used by devs or something. It had more than 7,000 damage per shot and looked like a .32 CAliber Pistol or some kind of Revolver, that is all I remember (selective photographic memory ftw >>). Only the damage was OP as f*ck, the rest of the stats were normal.

Now I think about it, it could've been the price that was so high, but that pistol killed ANY enemy with 1 shot.

Does anyone know which one this is, or the item ID maybe?

Thanks a ton.

If it had a scope it could have been Callahans magnum. That was pretty strong (Depending on your stats and difficulty) or it could have been Paulson's revolver

Thanks for the reply, but I found it was the Mysterious Stranger's Magnum. It had 9000 damage and that was then one I meant.

That's not usable by players unless you blatantly cheat with console commands

"blatantly cheat" well if you have finished the game 3 times I think sometimes having some fun is possible, no? But the fun thing is, I am 99% sure that those years ago I found that gun as loot, since back then I had no idea how to use console commands. I found it around the "Following in his Footsteps" quest when you fight through the first super mutants, before you get to Galaxy News Radio.

And well, it is ofc usable, you just need to spawn the item. And console commands are fun, spawning 200 ghouls and mowing them down with a minigun is surprisingly a lot of fun sometime ^^.

i agree after the first 3 to 5 playthroughs it is fun to use console commands

I don't think he meant "blatantly cheat" as an insult or any form of telling people off if they cheat, but as a way of trying to explain how to get it. As in, no other way to obtain it without actually cheating for certain etc.

Though, i sometimes enjoy cheats just for fun, especially after already finishing somethin legit.. but i hate when games actually enable access to cheats with a catch, like Assassin's Creed 4 did.. after all that effort to unlock them to use for fun... then it has conditions "saving not allowed, doesn't work if you start new game, blah blah" which is annoying since if you replay a sequence, once it finished it takes you back to present, so there's no way to actually restart entirely but keep access, and be able to save, meaning required to play from start to finish etc.. and some of them were cheats for amusement.. like turn the enemy into mutant rabbits o.o

Dovah, the command for that is player.placeatme 000AF836 50 (replace 50 with desired number). There are many other ID's for Deathclaws tho, check this link (also has all fun commands there): http://www.cheatcc.com/pc/fallout3cheatscodes.html

the only way i could see you geting that OP gun without console comands is a glitch, and a extremely rare one at that since no one else seems to got this gun without console comands

So what is the base ID of the pistol?
Steph Jun 7, 2014 @ 2:15pm
It's 00050F92 (and .44 rounds are 0002937E). Happy one-shotting!
