[SOLVED] Fawkes disappeared

So I started the Brotherhood of Steel and went to the first place you go (The place where the giant-♥♥♥ robot gets destroyed) and Fawkes just disappeared. I've looked everywhere I can think of where he would be (even in the underworld entrance) and he's just gone from the game world. No idea what happened.

Edit: So I just kept playing the game and eventually the game told me that Fawkes returned to the Museum of History. Still don't know why he just randomly disappeared.

He did the same thing to me. I finished the main game and the dude just disapears. Then after I finished the Mothership Zeta add-on. He just comes running up to me like he never left my party. After that, I always find him in the lobby of the Museum of History.

mmm i've read that sometimes they either go invisible at the clinic where you wake up, or are in another "clinic" room, maybe there are seperate ones in fo3 and the broken steel, don't know. Some say to roam about the areas, A-ring, B-ring, then go check the clinic again.

I guess there is always a move-to console command or something to go to them, or to bring them to you.

Fawkes was definetely there when I woke up in the Citadel. He disappeared after I started progressing through the quest line.

You should probably search him at museum of history, at the main hall. I once lost him too, but after like 10 hours of gameplay i got a message that he's waiting for me over there. Google him in fallout's wikia, there should be a note about that.

Perhaps you're using a mod that makes Fawkes a Nightkin :)

Well... when I started Broken Steel I somehow manage to miss Fawkes standing right next to the bed... that man is sneakier than you could think. ;)
